traditional dances (called raqiz) for men (women and men dance separate from each other - actually, women only dance in secret, either only in front of other women, or only in front of their husband, father and/or brothers), with their Djambiyah knives. the latter is called la bara'a and is older than islam itself and was reserved only for the nobles until the 1960s.
the dances vary, depending from which region of the country the men are from. these dances were performed in Manakha, in Djebel Haraz, roughly 90km away from Sana'a.
