thawb:
traditional dress/gown for men (called jalabia in other arabic countries), normally worn with a jacket; the gown is often white or another light colour such as yellow or mauve.
farou:
traditional skirt for men.
futah:
also traditional skirt for men; however not really a skirt but rather a piece of clothing, wrapped around a man's waist in a special manner.
chirchaf:
synthetique veil for women; in black and composed of 3 pieces of clothing, covering the entire body.
Djambiyah:
though not a piece of clothing, very often worn by men; large, bent knife, kept in a colourful belt around the waist.
